Woven is a Miami-based startup dedicated to helping groups work together more effectively. We’re building an online platform that helps groups coordinate their activities around a shared cause.

Bringing together communities. We make it easy to identify and map the various groups (organizations, companies, places and more) within a real world community. We pull in what they’re already sharing elsewhere (events, news and more) and give their activities greater visibility, thereby amplifying the overall cause and unlocking opportunities for collaboration.

We call it collaborative networking. Beyond social networking, our platform is designed to encourage working together while respecting the autonomy and needs of individual groups. It’s a delicate balance that we work hard to get right, and it’s at the heart of everything we do.

Aggregate and disseminate. Once we pull everything together, we make it easy to discover. Anyone can browse groups, events, news and more, or get at just the stuff that matters. We make it available to people where they are, including via social media channels, and it’s easy to follow specific groups or categories of content.

Woven is working closely with committed groups and communities as we build a platform that works. We power MiamiTech.org, the hub for hundreds of groups in Miami’s growing technology and startup community, and we’re beginning to work with other early adopters who are passionate about bringing together their communities.
